Summary: The competing tactics of the Mordesh and Aurin.
Story
Celestion
-New area: Darkwhisper Enclave. A Mordesh place. One of the books here describes the outbreak of the contagion that turned them into Mordesh, and it's CREEPY. AS. FUCK.
"No one tells a child that your mother isn't supposed to kill your father with the broken edge of a bottle, driving the glass into his neck and chest over and over again."
Literal horror. The Mordesh began basically as a zombie outbreak. It's only this "Vitalus Serum" that they continually ingest that stops them from reverting to mindless zombiehood.
-Helping the Mordesh kill off a group called the Torine Sisterhood, humans infused with primal life. They guard a source of Primal Life, an ancient tree called a Godwood. The Mordesh can use the Primal Life they get from the Godwood as Vitalus Serum.
This whole quest chain brings to light the conflict within the Exiles between the Mordesh and Aurin. The Mordesh want me to drill and mine the Godwood for its Primal Life. The Aurin want me to preserve it - it really is a beautiful, crystalline thing.
The answer is compromise. The Mordesh mine the tree for Primal Life (which they need to not go full-on zombie), and the Aurin heal the tree back up.
-Found a pretty awesome epic poem in the camp of the Torine Sisterhood, an ode to their revered ancestor sister, Tresayne Toria. She seems to be an ancient Cassian (the main human race in the Dominion faction). Or something.

Mechanics
-Runecrafting unlocked. Some items have slots (like earth, logic, or air), and if I have a rune of that same type, I can socket in that rune and give the armor a bonus.
-Second tier ability upgrades. I upgraded Crush, Telekinetic Strike, and Geist.
-New battleground (no thanks), and an Adventure! I gotta find a guild to try that out.\
