-Tobli’s not here. He’s feeling sick. One of the hypellos answers.
-Actually, screw it. Let’s knock all these commsphere messages out.
-Hard for me to tell which are worth watching. The Besaid one for instance just shows life in Besaid. The dog came up and stared at the CommSphere for like 10 seconds.
-Dona confirms the new rumor about the New Yevon attack force.
-In Luca, we see Shelinda doing a “woman-on-the-street” interview about the conflicts in Spira. The interviewee wants the leaders to step up.
-I keep going back to the Luca commsphere, and we keep picking up these stray Shelinda interviews.
-Most of them vary in the specific messages while being united in wanting the faction leaders to get their shit together.

Mi’ihen Highroad by CommSphere
-Rin tells us about the strange events on the Mi’ihen High Road. Asks for our help.
-I was hoping we’d go down there in person to investigate, but he put in a few commspheres along the road for us to check on.
-Found a “chocovorous fiend” behind the Agency.
-A malfunctioning drone has footprints on it. Huh.
-Something fell into the ravine. So was this all an accident caused by some big beasty?
-AHA! I spy upon a chocovore attacking a gull. Perhaps with the lack of chocobos, it is now eating anything, including machina parts.
-Or not. Found a girl who was looking guilty hanging around some of the machina.
-Two folks are making a deal. Ripping out machine parts and selling them on the black market perhaps.
-That chocovore is definitely trying to chow down on the hover.
-I keep seeing that girl talking to people and running away. So is it the shady girl behind this or the newly-adapting chocovores?
-I’m at an impasse for a while until I just decide to ring up Rin on the area showing two dudes sitting together. It works. He bribes them for info – but does NOT share his info with me. That rustles my jimmies.
-He got even more information from a hover crash survivor, and basically wraps up the investigation for now. He’ll think on the evidence more.
-Huh. That was an unsatisfying conclusion. But I suppose I shouldn’t think of it as a conclusion, but as merely the set-up. I imagine this storyline will continue when I go there in person.

Celsius – More CommSpheres
-Aww! Paine tells Yuna that when everyone sang the Hymn of the Fayth, she was part of that group.
-Preparations for battle well underway at Youth League HQ.
-The Al Bhed seem to have things at Djose Temple fairly under control.
-Leblanc is missing in action. Went out to look for Nooj, and Logos went out to look for her.
-I see a chocobo frolicking on the Thunder Plains. I wonder if that’s the one I dispatched.
-The musicians of the Macalania Woods tell of a dream, a prophecy. They dreamt that the Fayth got sucked in by “a fearsome power” and that it will try to take down Spira.
That must be the Vegnagun/Shuyin combo platter.
-The Macalania Agency is temporarily closed due to the fiend attack.
-Nhadala mentions a nasty fiend wandering the desert. I hope it’s not Angra Mainyu. I still don’t really have a great way to deal with Eject.
-lol Shinra as he overhears Nhadala taking Yuna’s help for granted: “Hero. Summoner. Doormat.”
-We briefly attempt to check in on Bevelle, but New Yevon soldiers see the CommSphere activate and shoot it up.
-Something I like about the implementation of the CommSphere system is how people on the other end can see when people from the Celsius are watching. It helps mitigate some of the creepier, more stalkery elements.
-omg clasko is SO ADORABLE with the chocobos
-Yuna invites Kimahri to come to her concert, but he can’t come. It’s his duty as the Elder to stay at the mountain.
-However, he offers his rejection in the best and sweetest way. Says he’ll hear her anyway because she sings from her heart.
-Something about this concert thing strikes me as a bad idea: will Yuna use her songstress dressphere to help? If so, that’d be not great. They should be keeping Lenne as out-of-use as possible.
-lol Garik is enjoying the hot springs. “Ahhh. Maybe grudge melt away here.”
-Nothing happening in Zanarkand, so onto Moonflow. It’s the only place I can go.

Moonflow
-Everyone here is looking for Tobli, not just us.
-I wonder if he’s hiding from the debt collectors.
-Seems likely. He appears, and some people start chasing him down the road.
-Go Tobli!! He keeps outrunning the collectors.
-I both hope and expect that our concert can help him raise enough funds to pay off his debts so he doesn’t have to toil in the sands of Bikanel.
-Tobli’s not at the main Moonflow base camp, so I backtrack and see that he hid out along the roadside. The chase resumes.
-hahahaha tobli just blazed the fuck away on a hover
-Samurai!Yuna learned Fingersnap, which resets enemy attributes to “normal level.” Seems like a nice way to deal with enemies that raise their defense or attack through the roof.

-I know looks aren’t everything, but why any of these random bandits would attack a party equipped as well as Alchemist/TankGirl!Rikku, Berserker!Paine, and Samurai!Yuna is beyond me.
-Ruh-oh. Tobli crashed.
-HOLY SHIT!! Even after the crash, Tobli managed to evade the debt collectors on shoopuf.
Regardless of what happens, my respect for Tobli’s badassery has gone up by a thousand this session.

-Time to riiiiiide ze shoopuf. All aboards!
-Tobli took off towards Guadosalam, where he has an office. I’m not sure that’s the wisest move.
-HAHAHA HE WAS HIDING IN THE TREETOPS, BOUNCED OFF A DEBT COLLECTOR MARIO STYLE, AND RAN TOWARDS GUADOSALAM
-Just as a debt collector was about to catch up, Tobli managed to sic a rampaging shoopuf on him.
I’m in awe of this guy. Never has one pursuer wrecked so hard since the Wet Bandits in “Home Alone.”
-We finally catch up with him at the gates of Guadosalam. He’s enthusiastic about the concert idea, to say the least.
-Tobli wants to hold it in the Thunder Plains. That sounds like a TERRIBLE idea, one that will result in more fatalities than a Dethklok concert, but we’re doing it.
-Tobli gets his Hypello PR department on the job.
-Some say the world will end in fire. Some say in ice.
I say it’ll end whenever Tobli and his weirdly-terrifying hypello army decide.

-The Hypello are jumping off the plane onto the Calm Lands to spread the word. Brave.
-Shinra is working on tech to ensure everyone can see the concert.

Next time: Checking in on the CommSpheres, then Yunapalooza. I really hope I can get more open access to the world soon. I want to see my chocobos at Clasko’s and see if the cactuar quest is ready to continue.
