Summary: The basics of Ashe, my first champion in League of Legends. Her story. Reviewing her abilities.
First character up is Ashe, the Frost Archer. She's a fairly simple character, low difficulty. I'm looking for that for the foreseeable future as I learn the game's basics.

Meet Ashe
- Warmother of the matriarchal Avarosan tribe in the brutal northern Freljord region. The whole place mixes a host of general barbarian fantasy and Scandinavian icons/myths.
- She's stoic, intelligent, and idealistic.
- An uncomfortable leader looking to unify the Freljord tribes.
- Part of a political marriage gone well. She and another champion, Tryndamere, married for political reasons, to unite their tribes, and grew to love one another. I frigging LOVE that trope.
"The proposal - Ashe and Tryndamere," by Skyzocat.
- Her original tribe was massacred, so she had to assemble a new tribal coalition.

Abilities
In this section, I'll check out her abilities and try to process them as best I can. Not gonna worry about all the math and stats involved, so I'll rewrite these to be a bit more basics as I understand them.
- Frost Shot (passive): Basic attacks apply frost, slowing targets and making subsequent basic attacks deal bonus damage. Critical strikes no longer deal double damage on slowed enemies, but they double Frost Shot's effectiveness.
- Ranger's Focus (Q): Basic attacks grant Focus, stacking up to 4 times. They gradually fall off after 4 seconds. At 4 stacks, activate to consume all Focus stacks to grant increased attack speed briefly shoot flurries of arrows
- Volley (W): Fires 9 arrows in a cone, slowing and automatically critting enemy champions.
- Hawkshot (E): Grants vision of an area for 5 seconds, but does not reveal stealthed units
- Enchanted Crystal Arrow (R): Fires a missile in a straight line that passes all other units until it collides with an enemy champion. Stuns and slows. Explodes to hit nearby enemies for half damage. Stun duration increases based on distance of the shot.
Big bonus from consecutive attacks rather than pecking every once in a while. She sounds really good in support of other high-damage champions. Better to chain attacks together so Ranger's Focus stacks don't fall off.
Sounds pretty straight forward. I'll give level priority to R > W > Q > E.
Tested her in a bot game. Was fun enough to practice on, but doesn't feel like a challenge and probably builds bad habits if I do it too much. Gonna dive in next against human opponents. *deep breath*

Next time: Trying three games against players on Ashe.
