A hulking beast loomed, silhouetted against the firelight. Thick strands of sinew bound its limbs to its torso like stitching. With a start, Marcin realized the beast itself burned, unharmed by the hungry tongues of flame that danced across its fur. In its claws it held aloft, by the head, the slumped, bloody form of the bounty hunter, a limp rag doll in the massive paws of the monster.
Before it, the little girl stood wreathed in fire.“You’re right, Tibbers,” she said. “He didn’t like being pulled either."
Meet Annie
- Annie is a child pyromancer. Her story (and her ultimate spell) features transforming her teddy bear, Tibbers, into a titanic, fiery protector.
- Her story seems to also draw on Stephen King's Firestarter. A little girl with destructive magic whose pyromancy can flare up with emotional trauma.
- Grew up in the borderlands of Noxus, one of Runeterra's more tyrannical, "evil" cities from the little I know.
- Her mother left when she was a kid. Tibbers seems to be one of the few physical reminders Annie has of her.
- Her father remarried. It sounds like the stepmother wasn't exactly abusive, but wasn't warm either.
- And here, I gotta put up the "Annie: Origins" video Riot Games put out. HOLY SHIII
- The art style especially knocks me back. So different from other League of Legends videos, and it fits perfectly.
- Annie's stepsister, Daisy, died. It wasn't Annie's fault - they got along well! It was an accident.
- Soon after, her father died in a housefire. Again, it's not like Annie did it on purpose.
- All that remained was her stepmother, who lashed out. Annie killed her in anger.
- BASICALLY, ANNIE HAS SEEN SOME SHIT
- Now she wanders the woods near Noxus. Fending for herself, largely alone.
- One of my favorite reaction videos to this btw is from MiscatSquad. I love hearing her talk about how personally this story hit her, especially how Annie's father treated her.

Favorite Skins
I didn't touch on this back with Ashe. Each character has different "skins." The art on some of these is amazing, and want to share my favorites.
BY FAR THE BEST is "Reverse Annie," with Annie dressed as Tibbers and Tibbers dressed as Annie.
I can't with this. It just cracks me up. The icing on the cake is Annie's "rawr! I'm gonna getcha!" face. XD
Another pretty funny one is FrankenTibbers Annie. The Bride of Frankenstein hair!
