Meeting on the Shera
-Cid seems in charge, saying the ground forces will lead the assault.
-Scene swaps to a truck rumbling on the ground. IS THAT BARRETT AND TIFA??
-AND CLOUD WTFFFF IS THIS HAHAHA
-He hops on of the back of the truck driven by Barrett and Tifa on a motorcycle (“Fenrir”) and they lead the rest of the ground forces towards the ruined Midgar.
-Scene swaps back to the Shera. Yuffie (lol with a hot water bag on her head) finishes Cid’s thought, that while the ground forces are doing their thing, the team aboard the Shera will lead an air attack.

The Shera – Sick Bay
-Cait Sith is here! Last we saw, he got sucked into the void or whatever by Nero the Sable, but I guess Reeve’s got back-ups.
-Cait with Shelke, seeming to act as an assistant. Shelke dons her virtual reality helmet thingy.

-She does her thing, connects to the synaptic net drive, and…

-what’s happening
-The rest of the party is near the front of the Shera, standing near what earlier looked like a globe. The globe erupts into starts, and makes it look like the party members are floating or flying in space. Like the world’s most realistic planetarium. It reminds me a lot of the room in Cosmo Canyon with floaty dude whose name I can’t remember, but even more realistic.
-Spaaaaaaace!!! This is really beautiful.
-A female voice is speaking, talking about how the planet will eventually be recycle. It can’t be Omega, can it?
-Now she’s referring to Omega as male.
-Omega’s purpose is to gather all the lifestreams of the planet together, “and lead it into the sea of the stars.”
Convergence of the lifestreams.
If I had to guess at this point, I’d say this is the voice of the Goddess.
-Omega really is a force of nature, seeming to be neither bad nor good. I get the sense that his time just hasn’t come yet, and Deepground is striving to bring him early.
-The space trip ends. The voice may be Shelke’s channeling the ship’s computer.
-Omega is similar to the Weapons from FFVII. It only manifests when the planets feels its in danger.
-Cait Sith places on one of Shelke’s virtual reality head thingies. “Good gracious me!” I don’t know why he’s doing it.
-Jesus. Deepground’s plan becomes clear now. They’re killing thousands to create a pure Lifestream that they hope will trick the planet into thinking the end is near.
-Omega is beneath Mako Reactor 0. Reeve’s plan is to destroy reactors 1-8 to slow the reanimation.
-The game is now giving me time to explore the ship more before we land. THANK YOU, game.

More Ship Exploration
-I really have no idea how much longer the game will go on. I don’t mean that positively or negatively. It sounds like I’m sort of approaching the endgame, or some climactic midpoint at least like with the end of the World of Balance in FFVI. The next steps for Team WRO seems clear. Shut down the reactors, kill the Tsviets, shut down reactor 0, Weiss, and Omega.
There are a few x-factors though. The biggest is that Vincent is one player of many. Cloud and the others are on the ground. Cid’s ship is taking out the reactors. Cid says Vincent’s job is stopping the Tsviets, so maybe the other stuff goes on in the background? Dunno.
Oh, btw Cid: fuck you for acting like Yuffie’s too weak or incapabale or whatever to do the Tsviets task. She just saved Vincent’s ass from Rosso. Yes, I’m projecting my dislike of you onto what are likely minor statement, but idec.
-Deepground attacked Wutai. Yuffie’s dad saved the day, but she’s worried for him anyway.
-Lucrecia’s data and memories are starting to “defragment” within Shelke’s mind, and she’s seeing images of what she experienced with Vincent. AWWWWKWAAARD. Shelke looks in pretty rough shape from this whole ordeal.
-Reeve saved one of his backup Cait Siths.
-Interesting! Vincent asks Reeve who’s backing the WRO. I just assumed they were independent, but it’s a shadow player that not even Reeve knows. I hope it’s not Weiss… no, that wouldn’t make sense. Probably someone from FFVII who hasn’t shown their face yet. My money is on Nanaki at the moment, just since we haven’t seen him.
Fair warning: if it’s Don Corneo as the savior of the planet, I’m going to throw things.
-On the way deeper into the ship, Vincent doubles over. Is he going Beast Mode? Rosso did take his controlly materia after all.
He turns around, hears and even SEES Lucrecia, and reverts to human form. That was close.
-Going beast mode again.
-Ruh roh. Shelke is lurking in the background ominously, though maybe it’s coincidence. [Later edit: on thinking about this, I think this is true.]
-Cid signals the start of the attack.
