Summary:
We explore the mage town of Mysi… ahem, Thamasa. We meet Gal… ahem,
Strago, and his adorable granddaughter Kri… AHEM SORRY AHEM, Relm.
They’re awesome. Relm plays with Shadow’s fierce puppy. A housefire
threatens Relm.
Overworld
-Strange looking monsters.
Beasts of the eastern wilds.
-Isle seems empty mostly except for the town. Onto Thamasa.

-Now they’re interested in us. No more “hmph.” Still a bit cagey, but not much.
-An old man knows about beasts apparently.
-The innkeeper is still a jerk who charges me 1,500gil.
-The mayor now welcomes me, and protests randomly that he’s never heard of magic. Doth protest too much, if you ask me.
-Hey, the Mohawk Walrus Guy may be the beast guy
-AND HE’S PLAYABLE TOO???
-Strago. Awesome portrait.
-He mentions espers. Then pretends he never heard of them. WTF. Why is everyone being super weird?
-Strago has a granddaughter. Like a Galuf-Krile thing?
-WTFWTF SHE’S PLAYABLE ALSO HOW MANY CHARACTERS WILL I GET?
-AND SHE HAS AWESOME THEME MUSIC
-Relm. She’s a painter. I’ll be she’s the one who made the paintings in Owzer’s mansion.

Strago doesn’t look too happy about Relm letting this slip.

-RELM WANTS TO PLAY WITH SHADOW’S PUPPY

-Shadow tells her to back off, since the dog bites. He is an attack dog, after all.
-LOLOLOL - Strago sends Relm to her room, and the pup follows her. LOHJFKLDSHFJKLDS THIS IS ADORABLE
-Pup’s name is Interceptor. I guess “Takedown” is just the name of his attack.
-We spy a boy casting Fire. Yup. Definitely a mage town.
-Strago used to be an amazing hunter apparently.
-Ok. The innkeeper is now charging us 1gil. “Why not relax for a spell?” I see what you did there.
-Will we wake up as toads? This smells like some Dark Knight Cecil in Mysidia bullshit about to happen.

Night
-Strago busts into the inn.
-Relm was on fire? Or something? And set a house on fire?
-Wtf Shadow. We all run off to help save Relm, but Shadow wants to sleep in. Seriously, wtf. I get that you killed your emotions or whatever, but still.
-LOL – Interceptor runs off to save Relm. Shadow has to follow.
-We arrive at the house, which is majorly on fire.
-Strago uses ice magic to try to quell the fire.
-The Mayor busts in, saying that magic is forbidden. Interesting. Not just secret, but forbidden. Unless he means that it’s forbidden to do it in front of us.
-Strago’s magic isn’t powerful enough on its own. The Mayor relents, and everyone nearby joins in wit their magic. It’s no use.
-We’re going in to save Relm.
-Strago’s coming with, despite Locke’s and Terra’s concern.
