So... yeah. A snake monster disguised herself as Hilda, seduced Firion, and we killed her. Ok.
The real Hilda was being held by the emperor as a prize (GROSS DUDE) in
his arena. Went there, killed a behemoth, and rescued Hilda with that
thief Paul's help before heading back to Altair.
The rebels took back Fynn. It's weird to see Gordon and NonSnake!Hilda in an actual castle and not a warehouse in Altair.
Next quest they sent me on is to find the Ultima spell at a tower in
Mysidia, or rather to help Minwu do this. To get into the tower, I need a
Crystal Rod. To get the Crystal Rod, I need a White Mask and a Black
Mask. Got the White Mask from tunnels beneath Castle Fynn, and I'm
camped now just outside a cave on a little speck of an island in the
sea.

Maybe it's level or party composition, but the caves underneath Fynn
actually went pretty smooth compared to last session's dungeons. FF2
marches on!
