Explored Eblana Castle – and by “explored” I mean “plundered of its
loot” – and wandered through the Caves of Eblana to pick up Edge.
Trudged through the ANNOYING AS FUCK Tower of Babil. Why annoying as
fuck, you might ask?
Coerls and Lamias.
The coerls, panther mobs, constantly cast “Blaster,” which either
paralyze me (best case) or one shot me. Lamias constantly cast
“Entice,” which charm my characters. When they group up, it’s not
necessarily too tough, but it is annoying as fuck.
Dispatched Edge’s parents, who are really well drawn. Or we knocked sense into their heads and they left? Not sure.
Made it to Rubicante, and found the same problems as I’ve seen before. I
love his character. He’s kind of noble, fights fair, and is a nice
change of pace from the other Fiends. But he’s just super easy. Edge
cast Flood, Rydia called Shiva, and (this is the worst) Rubicante
himself CAST BLIZZARA ON HIMSELF. WHY? Fighting fair is one thing,
with everyone at full strength. But trying to hurt yourself? And how
the hell does Rubicante know ice magic anyway, however masochistic he
might be feeling?
Or maybe it was a bug. Either way, pretty weird.
