The Sealed Cave.
Sealed. Fucking. Cave.
God I hate this place. Our party came here to secure the final crystal,
but of course we only ended up giving it to Golbez after Kain goes back
into mind-bent mode. The trash is easy, bats and vampires who don’t
really do much damage.
But every goddam door is a “Trap Door.” Each fight goes like this: Do a
bunch of damage, get one of my party members one-shot by the Trap
Door’s “Ninth Dimension” spell, watch as the door transforms into a
Chimera, get burned, eventually win. There are just so many doors!
The final boss was pretty fun. A “Demon Wall.” Took a lot of damage, and got close to killing me, but made it!
